Al Braun, NP | Advanced Pain Management Care

Al Braun, NP, brings a strong foundation of clinical experience, service, and compassion to his role at Touchstone Pain Center. With a patient-focused mindset and a deep understanding of chronic pain management, Al is dedicated to helping individuals navigate complex pain conditions with care, respect, and clear communication. His diverse background allows him to approach patient care with both clinical expertise and real-world perspective.

Al Braun, NP is a board certified Nurse Practitioner who joined Touchstone in 2023. He received his Master’s of Nursing from the University of South Alabama in 2014. Al is a U.S. Navy veteran and former firefighter who has a passion for helping others. He has been working with chronic pain patients since 2015 and understands the challenges they face and the variety of treatment options available. When he is not working with patients, he spends his time competing in national and international Axe and Knife throwing competitions.

In his clinical practice, Al emphasizes individualized care plans built around each patient’s unique needs, goals, and lifestyle. He believes that effective pain management starts with listening and education, ensuring patients feel informed and supported throughout their treatment journey. Al works closely with the care team to deliver evidence-based, interventional pain treatments aimed at improving function, reducing discomfort, and enhancing overall quality of life.

Driven by a lifelong commitment to service, Al takes pride in creating a welcoming and respectful environment for patients facing chronic pain. He is grateful to be part of the Touchstone team and remains dedicated to helping patients regain control, restore confidence, and return to the activities that matter most to them.
