Dr. Alan Hsu brings a strong foundation of clinical excellence, advanced training, and a patient-centered approach to pain management. With a commitment to precision, safety, and compassionate care, Dr. Hsu focuses on helping patients improve function, reduce pain, and regain quality of life through evidence-based interventional treatments. His background in anesthesiology and specialized pain medicine allows him to deliver comprehensive care tailored to each individual’s needs.

Dr. Alan Hsu is a board certified anesthesiologist and fellowship trained interventional pain physician. He grew up in Huntsville, Alabama and received his bachelor of science degree from The University of Alabama. He earned his medical degree at The University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2020. He completed his anesthesiology residency in 2024 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Subsequently, he served as chief during his fellowship in interventional pain medicine at UMMC in 2025. Dr. Hsu is excited to join the Touchstone team and help serve the southern Oregon community.

Outside of medicine, he enjoys sports and food related activities. You may find him tracking down an errant tee shot at a golf course around town. Dr Hsu is looking forward to exploring Oregon with his wife and their cat, Gary.

Dr. Hsu is passionate about building meaningful relationships with his patients and believes that thoughtful communication and education are essential components of effective pain care. He is dedicated to staying current with advancements in interventional pain management and strives to provide treatments that are both innovative and grounded in proven clinical practice. Dr. Hsu looks forward to partnering with patients throughout Southern Oregon to help them achieve lasting relief and improved daily living.
